MIKINDANI sunset lodge is our budget accommodation, a separate hostel situated in another part of town. The Sunset Lodge caters to an audience of budget travellers, backpackers and long stay travellers. Sunset Lodge is ideal for international students who want to learn about Kenyan culture or study Swahili.
The lodge is also a great place to stay if you are simply interested in interacting with Kenyans. The lodge is situated in the heart of a middle class area, which makes meetings with locals come natural. The MIKINDANI Sunset Lodge offers different types of budget rooms.

The MIKINDANI Sunset Lodge offers accommodation only, but a cafeteria and a Bar-Restaurant are situated in the same building. So you can quench your thirst and taste the local drinks and snacks.
The Lodge is situated in the Western Part of Mombasa, about 7 kilometers to the Moi International Airport and 8 kilometers to the town center. For transportation, you can use the local of means of transport MATATU. Taxis are also available on request.
